Have you had that feeling where nothing is going right and you wish you can turn back time? Well last night I was over it and I remembered reading somewhere that cutting off your hair is a sign of self cleansing and inner catharsis. There are so many things on my mind right now, like finding a wife! So cutting my hair (to me) helps me re-align my focus on the big picture (like finding a wife and practising the art of reproduction) and not worry about the small things like finding a wife. It's hard to explain but it's sort of like when "Brittany bitch" went all sans hair on our arses - the precursor to her excessive break down! I know deep down somewhere she was going for cleasing but missed the key exit and went staight for public break down instead! Poor britters! Me however, I'm just going for cleansing and down right "SHUTTING IT DOWN," trying to avoid the mental break down part but.. Ahh! Drum roll please!!!!! So what do you think???

TAKE ME BACK TO THE 80'S

VERSACE SPRING 2011 BACK STAGE.

The eighties hold a powerful sway over the house of Versace, and Martyn Bal, new man on the company's menswear block, certainly didn't resist their appeal in his debut collection. Inspired by the photos Bruce Weber took of rockabilly boys at the end of that decade and drawing on references from old Versus and Jeans Couture collections, Bal offered up a Stray Cats version of the Versace man. It was a universe away from where this guy had been heading of late (when Alexandre Plokhov last had some creative input), but Bal said after the show that he anticipated a new, younger customer would see the appeal of his proposals.

These included faux-bib-fronted shirts, a drape jacket with a shawl collar in black leather, jackets and trousers in sheeny tonic fabric, low-slung leather pants with fringes trailing from the side seams, and a big cream overcoat, also bedecked with showgirl fringe. A donkey jacket in red leather looked grown-up by comparison.

Bal is an alumnus of Dior Homme, and the new-wave leanings of that label clearly informed his work here, in items like jackets with a cutaway, crossover closing. But the collection's clearest successes—the optical silk shirts, the graphic section of swimsuits and silk robes in a black-and-white Vorticist pattern—were those that were most "Versace."

NEW FACE ON THE BLOCK

High above the meatpacking district last night, Dree Hemingway and Salvatore Ferragamo celebrated the launch of the Italian label’s latest fragrance, Attimo. At the Top of the Standard, with the lights of the city glittering below in the clear night, the dance floor remained mostly empty as guests, including Agyness Deyn, Maryna Linchuk and Gossip Girl’s Sebastian Stan, pushed their way upstairs to mingle in the open air.

Dree, the new face of Attimo—available in stores later this month— was chosen for her fresh and youthful appeal. She described the campaign as “Really such an honor.” The fragrance, a feminine blend of pear, kumquat, and gardenia, is a bid to reintroduce the label to a younger generation. Inspired by the scent—Attimo is Italian for “moment”—Dree shared her idea of the perfect instant: “Waking up on a sunny day with no plans, taking every moment as it comes.” The advertisement by Craig McDean, which captures her looking luminous while lying on silk sheets in a slip and red high heels, could be a close second.

At lunch in Newtown I found 2 rings (right index and eagle)) from a vintage boutique store. Im only into rings you wouldn’t normally see on someone dressed chic and covered in a fist full of metal “ME” lol iv already finished my party outfit for Saturday and the rings just add that touch of “ROCK-N-ROLL”.

Jewellery: Markets, Vintage, Diva & overseas

Since I have 6 pairs of boots and the whole country is rocking them I decided to find something a little different. It’s so hard to love one shoe when you have another pair just as amazing, but ill post them later. I sort of went on a shoes buying fit last night. Shopping in a shop in Australia is so weird to me as I love my markets, vintage and overseas shopping like Zara, Top-man etc…anyways I’m pumped for the weekend – I’m in need of relaxing……”NOT” I mean partying!!! xx
