DSQUARED2 FALL WINTER 2012 MENSWEAR COLLECTION

The twins from Dsquared2 sent the boys to school this season where the teacher had lost all control over his students-who got up and walked (or strut). The show was very toned down for the twins, which gave more attention to the detailed garments. Usually there are a lot more semi naked men to take the focus or a beautiful girl taking the spot light,but this time it was all about the clothes. 

The militarily precise navy pants, the peacoat, the camel, the shearling, the leather blouson, offered a high cut on classics, with a razor-sharp polish. Even the showpieces—a parka and a denim jacket whose sleeves were laden with heavy metal. Dsquared2 is the only label where you can dress for school during the week,then become a rock-star on the weekend then dress for church on sunday. WE LOVE DSQUARED.

Natasha Poly the worlds biggest super model of our time who was the face of every huge fashion hau in 2010-12 is now the leading girl in DSQUARED2. Poly never fails in every campaign she's in, i bet she taught the new kids- Dimitri Tanner, Paolo Anchisi, Matt Woodhouse, Ton Heukels how its done. shoot by the famous duo's Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. This is my top pick for the SS12 its fun its bright its DSQUARED2.

Every designer would be making sure there garments aren't damaged by make-up or hair, but not these fearless twins, they had a runway covered in mud which showed garments coated by it- in a way only a genius would .

I love how Dan & Dean brought an American rock concert to Milan with a touch of Canada with their signature fox fur & work socks with boots gave the girls a gipsy, rock chick feel with a hint of hippy chic. 

Photo #6 to me is what a DSQUARED2 girl is all about- she breathes confident and demands attention. This is yet another AMAZING collection by Dan & Dean I cant wait to see what they bring to fall.

Dean and Dan Caten are twenty-first-century vaudevillians, incapable of presenting a new collection without couching it in a SAUCY SEXY show. This collection had everything from sexy fisher men to rockstars and even mykonos beefcakes.  At this stage in the Catens' career, what they do shouldn't be so overshadowed by how they do it. Later this month, they're launching a purely sartorial "Classic Collection," which will highlight the fact that they're capable of great, straight(-ish) tailoring. Smart move, especially when the tailoring was positively refreshing amid today's hymn to the depilated male body beautiful. Their outerwear, too, continues to be a winning blend of form and function.
